Too Human GOTY edition anybody?
Maybe Sony should jump on the bandwagon and release GOTY editions for R2, MGS4, and Haze. (Though MGS may get a ___stance package at some point.)
The twist and the change in gameplay was shock to the system that, for me, made the game even better. Switching up tactics made you feel alot more like Nathan Drake, scared and confused.
I'll wait to see some reviews before I commit to buying Borderlands, but I like the style and the overall aesthetics of the game. I feel like applauding Gearbox for having the stones to release an original IP within a month of CODMW2.
Wardevil, Wardevil, unleash the beast
Within a game that'll never be released
Grand promises of 1080p
That more than likely we'll never see
Too Human Duke Nukem, it's the same kind of crap
Designed only so graphics whores can go....
....*fap fap fap*
Goodnight everybody and be sure to tip your waitresses.
How can a list of top 10 games include OB? That was a box set and none of the games within it are good enough on their own to be on a list like this.
Why is Burnout Paradise where Uncharted should be?
Gears is waaaaaay to high on this list and LBP, MGS4, and GTA 4 are too low.
Zelda rehash over Mario Galaxy?
*takes deep breath*
AND WHERE THE HELL IS BIOSHOCK!!!
I haven't heard anything about a U2 collectors edition short of Naughty Dog floating some test balloons to see if people wanted it though.
I think I'll withhold my exuberance until a larger website like IGN confirms this.
This really isn't that big a deal. I mean yeah MS is cribbing a little bit of LBP's style, but it's licensed music and ultimately Sony doesn't own the song.
That said, it's pretty damn weird for them to use a song so heavily associated with a system seller on a rival platform. It'd be like if Sony used Madworld in a PS3 commercial, not wrong, but kinda weird.
Who needs to buy a vaporizer when you have WarDevil rumors?
I mean, not only are these games nothing alike, but very few people outside of Sony employees have even played MAG. How can you ask people to vote on something like weapon balance when none of the voters know how the guns feel and act?
And no, having psudo-realistic weapons does not guarantee that they will be balanced as this article suggests.
But when reached for comment the man says he doesn't know if it's an alien or a cat.
That's about as conclusive as this article on Uncharted 2's alleged install is. Now excuse me while I go take a shower as giving this site a hit has made me feel dirty all over.
Third party exclusivity is never a sure thing these days, or need I remind you of
DMC4
Bioshock
Fallout DLC
FF13
This list would of felt a little old then.
Top 5 'recent' WTF:
1. No PS3 price drop
2. Delay-fest 09
3. Wii Vitality Sensor
4. Bobby Kotick threatening Sony
5. Milo
For your next game hire some professional writers to fix the awful dialogue and characterization you put in your games. Nothing personal guys, you're just no Amy Hennig. In fact, why don't you borrow her for a few weeks from Naughty Dog.
And it wouldn't hurt for your next game to give your concept artists and level designers a chance to make colorful interesting levels as opposed to gritty black and brown ones. Maybe a shooter set in the land of Oz where you're a highly trained...
Munn's not a gamer, she's just a piece of ass used to attract horny nerds into actually watching AOTS. If anything she is part of the stereotype that all fat nerds care about is games and boobies, a stereotype I loathe.
Also, I theorize that as attractive as Munn is with her clothes on, she doesn't pass the naked test. That's why she refused to go naked in Playboy. If she gives it all away there the mystique will be gone and all of her fans well see her orangutan tits or whatever...
I know there are some people who didn't like the twist, but then again there are a lot of people who weren't happy with the end of Bioshock either.
Maybe you should get your facts straight.
Resistance sold well because it was the only good launch title besides Motorstorm, 2-3 million copies.
Neither R2 nor R&C ToD have broken the 2 million mark.
Good, but not setting the world on fire a la Metal Gear or even Killzone 2. Meanwhile comparable exclusives on 360, like Gears, sell 4-5 million units in a smaller timeframe. And while the install base is bigger on 360, one can't help but notice their a...
This sounds like PR speak to me. How can IG possibly be happy with Sony right now? Their last two games didn't exactly set the world on fire with sales and most of that has to do with Sony's god awful marketing and refusal to drop the PS3's price.
Well what do I know. Maybe Sony hires teams of prostitutes to keep IG employees happy so they don't revolt against Ted Price and demand to go multiplatform with a new publisher.
What?
Where in my comment, you know the one arguing that Rare is a game developer and should be making games and not wasting time on virtual dolls, did I mention Sony, Microsoft, PSN, or Xbox Live?
And Home already has a ton of critics, it's been deemed a failure by most of the gaming press.
If anything I thought I was coming off as sort of a Nintendo fanboy, not that I actually am mind you.
"We're dead inside, please kill us now. We used to be one of the best devs in the industry, but since leaving Nintendo we've become a hollow shell of what once was. We used to make a diverse catalogue of games, but now all we're allowed to do is make avatars and poor spin-offs of once great IPs."
Or maybe that's just how I would feel if I were a top tier games developer who wasn't actually making freaking video games.
If they had been smarter, or just more networked between Sony Music and Sony Computer Entertainment, they would have made Beatles music exclusive to their platforms.
Don't even ask me how MS secured timed exclusivity rights for music Sony owns.
Actually never mind I know. Sony probably knows RB will ultimately sell more on other platforms, so why limit your income on a game that won't be a system seller and doesn't push the hardware or gameplay in any significant wa...
